Total deducted$66.07

What it does

Great for the moment a sale looks healthy on the surface but you want the honest number — the real payout after every major cost line has been removed.

How the math works

Gross collected = sale price + shipping charged + tax collected. Processing fee = gross collected x rate + fixed fee. Payout before costs = gross collected - processing fee - marketplace fee - tax collected. Final payout = payout before costs - shipping cost - cost of goods.

Try it with real numbers

  • A $120 order can look strong until you subtract processing, marketplace fees, shipping, tax handling, and cost of goods in the same view.
  • The quick reality check for sellers who care more about the final cash left than the gross order value.

Good to know

  • Different marketplaces treat tax remittance and fee timing differently, so the payout model is an estimate — not a settlement statement.
  • Use the tax collected field only when the buyer pays tax on top of the sale and that amount is not your revenue.
  • Most useful for fast planning before you move to a full SKU-level profit sheet.
